I was gifted a new DSLR camera for my birthday, and on Saturday I ventured outside to go for a testrun. Dam square was too crowded, so I rode into the canal area and quickly enough I dismounted on the bridge that spans the Keizersgracht (Emperor's Canal) and connects the two ends of the Leliegracht (Lilly Canal). It has a great wide view, it's bustling with people wandering around, enjoying a beverage at Cafe Brandon and, of course, cycling past, going from A to B to Z and what not.

As it goes anywhere, if you just stop and take time to observe, you'll shoot plenty of good pics.

Crossroads Crossroads

I then switched to video and filmed for about 10 minutes. Good fun. It never fails.
